Epc For Rsf (Rim Seal Fire) And Fsf (Full Surface Fire) Fighting System Upgrade For Cos Tanks At Zirku Adnoc Offshore Project
The EPC project for upgrading the Rim Seal Fire (RSF) and Full Surface Fire (FSF) fighting systems for Crude Oil Storage (COS) tanks at Zirku Island, ADNOC Offshore, involved engineering, procurement, and construction activities to enhance fire safety and asset integrity. The scope included demolition of existing risers and bund fire protection piping, installation of new risers, pipe supports, foam skids, and comprehensive FSF protection systems for tanks 1–6. A Corrosion Risk Assessment (CRA) was conducted to ensure long-term integrity, and the systems were designed to provide early detection and suppression of fires within the rim seal zone and across the tank surface using foam or gas-based agents. The project significantly strengthened fire safety compliance, operational reliability, and protection of critical offshore storage infrastructure.
